
Lecture by Bas Princen, artist and photographer
Bas Princen is an artist and photographer living and working in Rotterdam and Zurich. He was educated as industrial designer at the Design Academy Eindhoven and later studied architecture at the Berlage Institute in Rotterdam. Since then, through the use of photography, his work focuses on how Image defines Landscape and Archi-tecture, through books, exhibitions and large scale in Situ installations.
Bas Princen wil focus in this lecture on a series of 1:1 copies of fragments of architectural spaces where images are embedded into Architecture, and a set of recent In-Situ Installations, in which images define the space.
