Richard Sears is an American pianist, composer and producer currently based in Paris. His music is influenced by his experience with jazz musicians such as Tootie Heath, Billy Hart, Mark Turner and Muhal Richard Abrahms. In a review of his recording “Disquiet,” Le Figaro wrote: “His young work is the act of a unique musician.” The solo performance at Pavillon Le Corbusier anticipates the release of Sears’ forthcoming album “Appear to Fade” to be released under Figureight Records (Brooklyn).
